If you purchase a registration with accommodations included you will share a large three-bedroom villa with two other attendees. If you would like to bring family or friends, you'll have the option of upgrading to a private villa after registration.

Kelly Perry is the event host & the co-founder of Team Flower and Philosophy Flowers. She grew an at-home wedding business from a small subscription to a nationally recognized wedding brand while living in a small town with a population of 18,887. Philosophy Flowers has been featured with Martha Stewart Weddings, Brides, The Knot, Southern Weddings, Once Wed, Style Me Pretty and Flower. Kelly has coached nearly a hundred floral professionals in person and thousands more through her Team Flower online programs. In 2018, it is her goal to see over a thousand Team Flower members free from their concerns over the topic of pricing and ordering so they can get back to the important work of loving the world through flowers. In the Pricing and Ordering Session Kelly will show you how to create a "15 minute client estimate" that results in predictable profit margins every single time. In the Cultivating Creativity Session you will take away specific exercises to deepen your creativity.

Lauren and Rachel are co-founders of Sweet Root Village, located in the D.C. area. See how this team puts together installations that feel a whole lot like magic! Sweet Root Village has been featured with Martha Stewart, The Knot, Once Wed, Style Me Pretty, Once Wed and many other publications. They recently opened a sister company, Simply Sweet Root, offering an a la carte alternative to a full-service custom design.

creating arrangements with movement

Farmer-Florist Gabriela of La Musa De Las Flores in Mexico is demonstrating her technique for creating arrangements with movement, one of her signatures. You'll also hear her story and design philosophies. Gabriela is currently featured on the Team Flower Podcast and admired by top designers all over the world for her careful attention to color and design detail.

Styling Florals for Editorial Work

Naomi is the style director for Martha Stewart Weddings and their in-house floral expert. She’s been working in this role for the last decade and is on the front lines of trend setting through her editorial work. Meet the woman behind those beautiful seasonal flower stories you have earmarked in your magazine collection. In this session Naomi will share some of her favorite projects over the years and share tips and insight on styling florals for editorial work.



Flower shop to national brand

Christy Hulsey of Colonial House of Flowers is sharing the story of how she transitioned a small town flower shop in rural Georgia to a nationwide brand attracting customers of all ages. She just wrapped up an amazing tour around the country hosting workshops as the 2017 Mayesh Design Star.

Patrick Dahlson is the CEO of Mayesh Wholesale, based in Los Angeles with 17 locations nationwide. In this session Patrick is sharing the latest sourcing news, tips for working with your salesperson on substitutions and his contagious passion for teamwork in the industry.

James Farmer is a professional garden, floral and interior designer; cook; author and lifestyle expert based in Perry, Georgia. Want to nail your signature style or a high end look for less? The secret is in a deep understanding of the elements and principles of design. James is extremely knowledgable on the subject and applies them across all his creative endeavors.

Jesse Perry is the co-founder of Team Flower and Philosophy Flowers and handles all things tech. He grew the Team Flower online presence to stretch all 50 states and 98 countries. His most recent research and implementation project revolves around SEO, a free marketing tool you can use to make your business easier for clients to find in searches. Best part? You can start implementing as soon as you get home, and you don't have to be tech savvy to see results!

Designer of the Year

Hands-on design opportunity

Designer of the Year is competition-style event where designers can share and grow their design skills. There is no age limit, no experience level requirements and no certification requirements. Participants will compete in five challenges. Designer of the Year will receive a cash prize, awards from sponsors and interview opportunities with Team Flower. The winner will be announced at the Celebration of Flowers dinner.

Entry fee is $199 and covers flowers. Participants will bring their preferred supply set.

Celebration of Flowers dinner

Dinner & Awards Banquet

The Celebration of Flowers Dinner is an evening dedicated to the people who have given their lives to sharing flowers with the world through floral design, growing, wholesale supply, floral paintings and more. Guests will don floral themed apparel — everything from floral ballgowns to floral sneakers. The program will begin with a walk down the green carpet with a photo opt and continue into dinner with an inspirational awards banquet celebrating milestones and achievements of attendees and speakers and sponsors. The Designer of the Year will be announced, along with awards in innovation, service, and lifetime achievement. The evening ends with an inspirational message and dancing. The floral event of the year!
