Over 600 floral industry professionals have been uplifted by the Team Flower Conference since it started in 2018.

We asked them what they would say to you…

Come and make some connections! If you want a HUGE boost in energy, come! If you want to meet many wonderful new flower friends, come! If you want to feel re-energized for the year ahead and creatively refreshed, come to this conference!
— Karis Vandel-Holm, Flowers by Karis
If you are curious about the floral industry or are an experienced floral designer or floral farmer, there is a wealth of knowledge here to be tapped into. A wealth. On top of that, the attendees and vendor reps are kind and welcoming, and [they’re] happy to share information and encouragement, too. The Team Flower Conference has that ‘summer camp vibe’ of all for one and one for all. [There’s] so much support, no matter where you are on your journey. If you have the opportunity to go—do it! It’s a gift on so many levels.
— Marci Imes
It was a great investment for my whole team! The small groups enabled us to pursue a variety of topics suited to our roles, which enriched our experience and the value of the conference.
— Emily Calhoun, Floriography Flowers
The conference is a great way to step back, breathe, get inspired, and connect with other industry professionals who are in all different facets and stages of the business. The conference is small enough to still feel ‘intimate’ and really make new connections, but large enough to gain a breadth of industry experience. I’d say one of the discerning factors of Team Flower Conference is the true authenticity of the presenters and attendees—caring individuals who want to share both their tips and successes, [while being] honest and real about their stumbles in a way that is relatable and inspiring.
— Ginny Wydler, Lilac and Page
[The Team Flower Conference] is an incredible experience you need to [have] in person; people can tell you how amazing it is and you can see on social media how amazing it is, but until you are there, you will never know how empowering, inspiring and mind-set changing it is being in a room with 300 other people who love flowers are much as you do!
— Carla Carbajal, CapitalFloristOTT
[The Team Flower Conference] is a safe space to be vulnerable, and it is so uplifting to be surrounded by several hundred people who are designers, farmers, and business owners who know the struggle and feel the same things you do. Some may be earlier in the game, some much, much further, but all are fully prepared to lift each other up and love on one another. Something that I don’t think everyone would feel quite as comfortable doing in another environment.

Team Flower Conference is an experience unlike any other. It is very YOU-focused. It’s about PEOPLE, people who love through flowers. It’s the perfect place to go if you feel alone. It’s the best place to be to ask questions and receive real answers. Everyone is accessible and ready to support each other. If you walk in with an open heart, you’ll leave with armfuls of flower friends from all over the world.
— Rachel Bridgwood, Sweet Root Village
No matter where you are on your flower journey, make sure this conference is a stopping point. The information you will learn and, more importantly, the people you will meet will help to prepare you for the future. Each speaker, session, and flower is hand-picked to benefit the maximum number of people. Don’t miss out on this valuable opportunity! The things I learned at this conference will help propel my business to the next level. I came hoping for what I’m ultimately taking home.
— Marla Bixler, Bixler Blooms
Being with like-minded creative people is an amazing experience. I learned new things, met great people, and left the conference having a better vision of where I want to be and how to get there.
— Diane Farmer, Bloomline Flowers
I am always someone who takes conferences and trainings seriously, as they are always a large investment for me and my business. I always approach them with an open mind and heart, and this conference was not [any] different. After attending the conference, I gained so much valuable information from so many incredible industry florists at different places in their own careers and journeys. The speakers shared with open hearts so that those of us who were in attendance were able to take what they shared and apply it to our own business how we would see fit. Everyone was so willing to share their own experiences; they were honest and truthful and didn’t sugarcoat it, as they all know there are ups and downs—and they were also so willing to answer questions. Sometimes we need a little escape in life to be around like-minded people to know we are not alone and we can all face challenges, but I know it was not just a learning experience but almost a spiritual experience as well as a little escape. I truly recommend this conference not only as a way to get insight and get questions answered, but also just for a personal journey to grow as well.
— Chrissy Hudacin, Special Occasion Designs
Take the leap of faith! Going to this event was a HUGE leap for us, and after attending day 1, we [knew we] needed to bring our whole team next year. It was so refreshing to be filled with the love of flowers again and to know we all endure the same struggles but how to keep going! We needed the stories, community, and time away to be refreshed.
— Ashley Flock
This is the floral design conference you are looking for! It is an opportunity to get more business-savvy, grow your design skillset, find your worth in the industry, and build community with your fellow florists. Team Flower does an incredible job at creating an event that combines all of these elements in harmony. You’ll learn, laugh, probably cry, and won’t want it to end.
— Nicole Burbank Majors, Nicole Burbank Events
I went back to my room after the third day [of the conference] literally crying happy tears from the whole experience. [There was a] great balance of helpful information/actionable skills with demos, a hands-on [service project], and energetic “cheer” sessions. I was in the corporate world for years (including at Disney HQ in LA in film marketing), and have never experienced an industry conference that was so professionally AND personally fulfilling. . . . I arrived a bit weary of flowers (that burnout factor) and left re-energized, comforted knowing others have similar experiences/ups and downs, and with solid tools to help move my business forward in the way I want.
— Ginny Wydler
This conference is a must for anyone in the flower industry. Whether you are a wholesaler, farmer, florist, or anywhere in between, learning how this community comes together is of the utmost importance to keep your business relevant. You owe this to yourself and your business.
— Mary Slingluff
There is nothing else like this [conference] in the industry. Getting to connect with different people from all over the industry, not just one area, is invaluable. Connecting with each other is how we start a wave of influence and bring about real change! This is so much more than a ‘flower conference.’ It is food for the creative soul! The opportunity to learn new things, meet flower friends from all over the industry (and from all over the world!), enjoy beautiful flowers, connect with people on a deep level... and spoil ourselves at the celebration of flowers... it was such a gift.
— Elizabeth Meltzer
You will not regret [this conference]! Sometimes it’s difficult to justify the expense, but I promise it will be worth every penny. The things you learn and the connections you make are more than worth the investment. Your business will change for the better, which means more money, and the expense will be justified.
— Kristin Woltercanfield
I appreciated the warm, intimate feeling I received that you usually don’t find in a group this large. I felt welcomed and inspired. As an introvert, I felt so comfortable—I even came out of my shell and asked the speakers questions. Everyone was so helpful and kind! I left feeling refreshed and excited about the new knowledge I brought home that will elevate my business and help fine-tune some of the areas I’ve wanted to tackle.
— Cassandra VanCuren
I once heard a quote, ‘A year from now, you’ll be glad you did this.’ I always gauge whether I’m going to invest in a conference/workshop on [this quote] and whether I would rather buy more rentals that will actually make me money, versus spending money. The bar is high for me, personally. In the case of the Team Flower Conference, in a year from now, you’ll be glad you went.
— Renee Armour
It will challenge you to take a step forward in your business and equip you to do so!
— Lynn Monden
[Because of the conference,] I have an actionable plan for further training and exploration. I also have a better idea of the direction that I’d like to go, based on experiences shared by presenters and other conference attendees.
— Angela Holt
As a grower, it inspired me to explore more income avenues [like] flower subscriptions and workshops.
— Christa Stosiek
I learned not only design techniques and how to love and care for my employees and clients, but also how to have grace for myself in the process of being a new business owner.
— Stephanie Williams
It helped us so much with things we were struggling with on the business side of owning a retail shop and also encouraged us that we are on the right path! It gave great insight as to what our next steps need to be to continue to move forward.
— Carly Borowy
I have been in business for nine years, yet I learned so many valuable lessons, ideas, and tools that will be implementing upon my return. The design techniques and business ideas will help with client retention and help me to tap into a higher dollar market.
— Stacy Bowen
In general, as a beginner, it made me feel really good about where I am in my process. Often Instagram can make you feel like you are always behind. At the conference, I felt like the place I am is right where I need to be.
— Grace McDonald
[The conference] connects you with professionals not only at your level, but also gives you a direct connection to those you look up to and admire. It’s a wonderful opportunity to listen, learn, and ask questions in a warm environment from professionals that may have journeyed longer than you. During those few days, you all feel apart of the same thing.
— Cassandra VanCuren
The caliber of talent and professionalism of the speakers certainly spoke to where I am at in my flower journey. I took something away from each speaker.
— Joy Lee
There are many styles of design shown at the conference—a person is never really done learning.
— Courtney Kroymann
Do it! You will not regret it ... because I know there is always more to learn and room to grow. This community is incredible and has a special place in my heart.
— Kristen Bock, Gather to Flourish
The speaker sessions and events at the Team Flower Conference offer the most information-dense, quality content I have encountered at any kind of symposium in a long time... a lineup that is fun-without-fluff and amazingly relevant to all stages of floral professional growth and development. Whatever stage (or arm of the industry) you are in, you will meet colleagues at this conference who are in the exact same boat, some who are about to step into the boat, and others who have stepped out into bigger and more demanding boats. The professional perspective and personal value that this spectrum of interaction and relationship building offers to you is golden. Trust me.
— Hannah Lowery
The opportunity you have to learn from, interact with, and build relationships with individuals throughout the industry is unparalleled. This is a warm and welcoming family—a space to learn whether you’ve been doing this for years or have just started out; everyone feels like part of the family.
— Ona Pappas
The conference [is] both uplifting and encouraging—it encompasses so many aspects of the floral and design industry [and] I believe it offers really valuable experiences for whatever stage you are at in your business or floral journey. It challenged me to really think deeply about being more intentional in so many aspects of my life.
— Katie McDonough, Petal and Print
The time spent away from your business, gaining inspiration, having conversations, and resting will have results in your business that are profound. The time spent amongst other [men and women] in flowers was invaluable in boosting my confidence and sparking new ideas to move forward with. We truly are all in this together!
— Kate Asire
The Team Flower Conference is a truly unique event. Along with learning from big names in the floral industry, there is an atmosphere of peace and vulnerability. We are all on the same team. You will make lifelong connections with others in the industry and have the opportunity to interact with people who you may partner with in the future. It is a deeply encouraging and educational experience!
— Jessica Weatherford, Scenic Blooms
This is a very unique time to be among your industry peers, and the cool part is, you’ve got cheerleaders all over the globe that [you’ve] not even met yet! The conference is one big hug and thumbs up! Zero competition—just acceptance and encouragement!
— Nikki Whited
I feel like I have a community to reach out to when I have questions. I am not walking this journey by myself anymore.
— Diane Jordan-Cooke, Flower Mart
