After this class I feel more empowered knowing that there are principles of design that I can follow and can use to my advantage. This class definitely helps me enhance my personal design style and create the types of arrangements I've always loved and admired. The lessons have made me more aware of what to look for in my arrangements and how to create balanced designs with depth.
TAQUILLA MARTIN OF TWINE & TOIL
This class is a must! From using transition flowers, to gradation, to color choices — there are so many techniques shared in this class that I’m excited to start working on! They are proven techniques that you can use to feel confident in your work and produce quality arrangements every time.
PAULA RICE OF BEE HAVEN FLOWERS
This class is foundational to understanding what it is that makes an arrangement pleasing to look at. So often you see a hodge-podge of perfectly spaced plant material and it’s not pleasing to look at. Knowing these principles gives you confidence to step out of the mold and create! This class will help set your work apart from just the average person.
KERRY PATEL OF KP DESIGNS
Describing the principles and elements of design is rarely simple in approach. However, Kelly's experience in the floral industry has given her a keen understanding of the material and lessons. She shared easy-to-understand terminology, which in turn created a class that is simple, even though full of lots of content.
Krista of Gavita Flora, located in California
With this class, I will be able to design arrangements with more confidence! I tend to overfill arrangements when I doubt my design abilities. With the tools under my belt from this class I will save money, time, and worry! I really appreciated how Kelly gives valuable insight during the demos, such as tips about interacting with clients, ordering product, and even pricing. The class was so much more than a floral design tutorial!
Jenny Park of JP Wedding Flowers, located in Virginia
I am an experienced florist, but I was not familiar with garden style design. This is a great opportunity to learn about choosing colors, flowers and greenery to make the garden style! It helps me a lot to fulfill the requests for my brides.
Lauren Wiebe of Stone House Creative, in Canada
It was great to see how weddings that are much larger budget than what I get are priced, and to have the confidence to tell brides what they can and cannot afford! Kelly referring to the levels of the arrangements has made a big difference in how I envision my arrangements!
Lindsay Jensen of Lindsay Jensen Event Design + Styling, in Indiana
This was the single most helpful purchase I have made for my business! I have attended multiple workshops and taken online classes, but Kelly is a gifted teacher and is incredibly generous with the information that she shares. This investment will more than pay for itself in the long run.
Stephanie Matthews of Made by Matthews, in Arkansas
This class has helped me be more efficient. By applying the design principles taught, I know have a formula to follow now instead of just trying things out to see if they work. I would absolutely you purchase the Centerpieces & Reception class! So much is covered — from different color tones to containers to style options!

Mariana of Flowerly, located in southern Florida
In this class I found easy mechanics to make my floral designs more efficient and less costly — which in turn makes my work more profitable. In the supplied notes, I always found the product info and pricing the most helpful as it gave me a baseline on how to define my recipes and my prices. I learned additional mechanics I was not familiar with — such as aisle marker tubes and transforming garland to a wreath!
Lauren of Stone House Creative, located in Winnipeg, Canada
With the ideas from this class, I feel like I'm better prepared to talk with brides about bringing in different options and decor ideas to their ceremonies, giving them a more unique experience. I feel like this will give me a competitive edge over others during my consultations, and will hopefully allow brides to get a better sense of what I can offer to them that sets me apart from other designers they're meeting with.
Meagan of Weddings Tied With Lace, located near Niagara Falls
This is a great class for people who are looking to expand their knowledge and technique in floral design. Even if you have been doing florals for awhile I'm sure there are handy tips you may not know. For example, I love your technique of covering the container and working your way up. Sometimes I would get ahead of myself and this tip has helped. Also, I loved learning how you attach flowers to the garlands!
Faith of Fox and the Fleur, located in Dallas, Texas
These lessons are so full of practical tips and resources! It is so helpful to see the mechanics behind the focal points that make a wedding so beautiful. Kelly gives examples of different price points and alternate methods so you are fully equipped to go do it on your own. The list of materials and breakdown of pricing was especially helpful!
